Sweet Perfume Layer Combo You Need for V-Day

Sweet perfume is always going to attract people’s attention. And with Valentines Day around the corner, it’s the best time to wear something sweet for your sweety. I’m going to share a sweet layering combo that you didn’t know you needed for V-Day.

Sweet Perfume

Kayali has a new fragrance out called Yum Boujee Marshmallow | 81 and it smells heavenly. The key notes in this fragrance is whipped cream, strawberries, and marshmallows. This perfume is literally a strawberry milkshake in a bottle. It’s a very flirty, playful yet elevated fragrance that’s perfect for any age. Now when I got this perfume for Christmas from my sister, I was ecstatic, and I thought what on earth am I going to layer her with?

Sweet Perfume, but make it Strawberry

For Christmas, I had also received the lotion and body spray of Strawberry Pound Cake from Bath & Body Works. The minute I opened the gift it was like a light bulb went off in my head saying BINGO! This was the perfect layering combo to layer with the Yum Boujee Marshmallow. If you read my blog post Perfume Layering Tips You Need to Elevate Your Signature Scent you know why this combination works. The obvious common denominator fragrance note here is Strawberry. We know that when we layer with other products, they should have at least one of the same fragrance notes. Strawberry Poundcake smells amazing, I first fell in love with this scent when it only came in the candles and plugins. I had no idea that they even made this fragrance in a body spray and lotion.

Bath And Body Works have some of the best and potent body care products. And Strawberry Poundcake is just as sweet and yummy as you could imagine. Layering these two together got me compliments all day. I truly believe that it not only enhanced the Yum Boujee Marshmallow, but it increased its longevity of it as well. I can spray as much of the body spray as I want and lightly spray Kayali’s perfume to preserve it. This layering combo will have you smelling absolutely sweet and scrumptious for your Valentine. Let me know in the comments below if you will be trying this layering combo, or if you have your own you would like to suggest pairing with either of the two. I can’t wait to hear from you.
